CTO Receives VITA Grant
CTO is proud to announce that we have received the VITA Grant to provide free tax services to individuals and families throughout our communities. Spearheaded by the VITA Program, the Coalition for Financial Empowerment covering 26 counties was created to offer more than just tax services, but financial literacy and budget assistance. Coalition members include Central Texas Opportunities, Inc., Concho Valley Community Action Agency, Aspermont Small Business Corporation, and Rolling Plains Management Corporation.
If you want to volunteer in your community to assist in providing free income tax preparation services to those unable to prepare their own tax returns, you can learn more on becoming a #taxvolunteer by visiting http://go.usa.gov/DSK9 or contact Central Texas Opportunities, Inc.
